What We Do

Pipa Market is an independent real estate intelligence platform for Praia da Pipa, one of Brazil's most beautiful coastal destinations in Rio Grande do Norte. We aggregate, clean, and analyze property listings from 8 local and national real estate sources to give buyers, investors, and agents a single view of the entire market.

As of March 2026, we track 678 active listings across 12 neighborhoods — from beachfront villas in Praia do Amor to affordable land plots in Sibaúma. Our data updates weekly and includes price change detection, market trend analysis, and neighborhood-level comparisons.

Our Data Pipeline

Transparency matters. Here's exactly how our data works:

• Sources: We scrape public listings from 8 real estate websites including local Pipa agencies (Pipa Imóveis, Sinergy Imóveis, Imobi Nova Pipa, Leo Imóveis, Ludmila Abreu, Brasil Imóveis) and national portals (ImovelWeb, VivaReal, ZAP Imóveis, OLX, Chaves na Mão).
• Cleaning: Raw listings are deduplicated, classified by property type, and matched to neighborhoods. Listings priced under R$ 5,000 are excluded as likely rentals or data errors.
• Price Tracking: Every week, we snapshot the full market and detect price changes on individual properties. This powers our price history charts and "Price Reduced" badges.
• Images: Property photos are downloaded and served locally for fast loading and consistent availability.
• Updates: The full pipeline runs weekly. Scraping, cleaning, and price detection are automated. Manual review catches edge cases.

Who We Are

Pipa Market was built by a small team of data engineers and real estate enthusiasts who fell in love with Pipa and saw an information gap. The local market is fragmented across dozens of agencies, each with their own website and listing format. We built the tools we wished existed when we were looking to buy.

We are not real estate agents. We don't sell property. We provide market data and connect interested buyers with the listing agents who do. Our goal is to make the Pipa property market transparent and accessible to both Brazilian and international buyers.
